  It has become a yearly tradition for the immediate past House of Reps member, Kosofe federal constituency, Prince Oluwarotimi Ojo Agunsoye(mni) to host his friends, family members, political supporters and business associates at christmas in his ijebu-jesa mansion in Osun State. The event also entails the birthday celebration of his mother, Madam Beatrice Tinuola Agunsoye and his brother, Prince Odunayo Agunsoye, who were born on christmas day. The christmas-birthday party was a colorful one that witnessed various people from far and near, gracing the occassion. The birthday celebrants gave thanks to God for sparing their lives to count their ages. Lagos political supporters of the honourable were on ground to support the event in service and loyalty. . Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye danced to the melodious sound of the saxophonist, praising God for seeing another christmas, in which the supporters joined him in the celebration with their dance steps.   On the eve of christmas, there was an addition of a bundle of joy to the family of the executive chairman of kosofe LG, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe as his wife, Temidayo put-to-bed a healthy boy. Kosofe residents were filled with joy of the good news as felicitations has been pouring in, via social media, text messages and voice calls to rejoice with the family. God has really been so good to the family as he gave them double portions of blessing @ christmas. The mother and her child are doing fine at the moment as the christening ceremony of the baby boy will takeplace on sunday 31st December, 2023 at their residence. Top dignitaries in kosofe and lagos state in general are expected to grace the occasion with their presence to celebrate with the executive chairman and his family.   Chief James Ajibola Adegoke Idowu IGE was killed in cold blood in his ibadan home on 23rd December, 2001,which is exactly 22years today. It was indeed a day to remember as the news of his murder spread like a wild fire on that fateful day. So shocking to see that a serving Attorney-General and Minister of Justice can be killed in such a gruesome manner and the case remain unsolved till today. Though some arrest were made of the likes of Prince Iyiola Omisore, Fryo and others but it doesn't dispense the case as we all thought. Many school of thoughts believe that it was omisore that sent his killer squad to kill bola ige but there weren't concrete evidences to back up the theory,hence their release from detention. The murder of the renowned politician led to the untimely death of his beloved wife, Atinuke. Who killed Bola Ige?   The race to contest for the executive chairman of kosofe LGA will start from next year and the incumbent chairman, Hon. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe is in pole position to be re-elected for a 2nd term. The primary election in 2021 took the people of kosofe by storm as moyo emerged as the APC candidate for the LG election. He emerged amongst other party aspirants such as Hon. Musiliu Alade Aigoro, Hon. Fatai Gbadebo,Hon. Gbemisola Ketiku, Hon.Lanre Carew and so on. The race will be open for contestation in 2025 but at the level of political parties, the race starts next year as people will start showing interest to contest for the chairmanship position. it is safe to say that the incumbent will be contesting for a 2nd term but he hasn't indicated interest yet.
