God Bless declares his intention for APC Ward A Oworonsoki Councillorship Seat

As the 2nd tenure of the incumbent councillor of Ward A Oworonsoki winds up next year, the race to succeed him is getting exhilarating by the day as some party members has signified their interest in the juicy position. The new person to join in the race is Mr. Segun Leramo a.k.a God Bless. He is a fulfilled photo/videographer that has excelled in his chosen career path, and he's married with children.

Moreso, God bless has paid his dues in oworonsoki politics, solidifying his party loyalty with dutiful responsibility of covering party functions with photo/videographic materials at affordable costs over the years. He has decided to join the race for the APC Ward A Oworonsoki Councillorship Ticket.

In Addition, He has consulted widely among some party leaders of the ward for his intention to run for office, in which  they gave him their blessings to excel at the primaries.

Who will succeed Hon. Adewale Omofojoye as the next councillor of Ward A Oworonsoki? Only time shall reveal as more aspirants will still join the race in the nearest future.

EFCC has begun monitoring Local Government Funds

  It is no longer a news that LGAs now have financial autonomy,owing to the supreme court verdict of 2024, affirming that LGAs should receive their monthly FAAC Allocations directly from the Country's treasury. According to the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Mimister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, The allocations of the LG funds will take effect by february. In lieu of this, The Anti-graft body of the federation, EFCC has announced that the has started monitoring the funds so that it won't be mismanaged or laundered abroad through the whims and caprices of corruption that is endemic in our political system. This is a welcome development by the anti-graft agency, beaming it's searchlight on the grassroots administration funds.
