As the incumbent councillor representing Ward B Oworonsoki, Kosofe LG, Hon. Adewale Omofojoye will be winding up his 2nd-term in office with little or no performance on sight, The race to succeed him has been generating public discussions amongst the residents. Some aspirants are been touted to throw their hats into the ring when the time comes. They include Sunday Jonathan Odubamise, Adekunle M. Saliu a.k.a Africa, Moses Oladimeji Adekoya a.k.a Ilufemiloye, Segun Leramo a.k.a God Bless e.t.c.

Sunday Odubamise

Sunday Jonathan Odubamise is a current supervisory councillor on Tourism to the executive chairman of Kosofe LG and a notable grassroot politician. He is a former aspirant and a top contender for the post, owing to the goodwill and loyalty gestures he enjoys from the Alebiosu Political Dynasty.

Adekunle Saliu (Africa)

Adekunle is a youth convener, and the chairman, electoral committee of the recently concluded NYCN Lagos Chapter Election. A very ambitious fellow and will like to test the political waters by vying for the mostly-coveted councillorship seat.

Moses Adekoya

Moses Oladimeji Adekoya is also a youth and and a personal aide to the executive chairman of Kosofe LG. He's a former aspirant at the last APC councillorship primaries on 2021. He will hope to try again next year.

Segun Leramo

Segun Leramo a.k.a God Bless is also a young, vibrant enterprenuer with vast experience in photo/videography. he recently trained some youths in photo/videography sessions as part of his contribution to oworonsoki community.

More aspirants are expected to join the race as time goes by. The question is "Who will succeed the incumbent councillor next year?". I guess only time can reveal such.
