THE BIOGRAPHY OF HAMZAT ALIU, WARD "B" OWORONSOKI COUNCILLORSHIP ASPIRANT




It's not new that Hon. Hamzat Aliu will be contesting for councillorship position in the next dispensation under APC. In lieu of this, it's only appropriate to reel out his bio-data and personal achievements to the well meaning people of ward b oworonsoki.


Hon, Hamzat Aliu was born and bred in Oworonsoki. He attended primary school in the same environment and also obtained secondary school certificate from Marigold College, Oworonsoki. He completed his Walimatul Quran at Sheikh Muhammad Robiu Adebayo(RTA) a.k.a Baba Loworo's Modrasat Islamic School, that gave him the necessary educational and religious growth. These experiences have shaped his character and provided a solid foundation for his future endeavors.

Obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree(B.sc) in Education and Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in 2016 is a significant achievement in his life. It demonstrates his commitment to furthering his knowledge in the field of education and science, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the community.




Serving his fatherland through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program is a commendable and exemplary gesture that he discharged meritoriously during his service year . He taught Physical and Health Education (PHE) at Muslim Junior College (MUSCO) as his NYSC placement job, whereby He showcased the benefits of PHE knowledge to the young ones in oworonsoki community and also contributed to their intellectual and physical development.

He was the first Oworo boy to teach as a corps member inside Oworonsoki, which makes it, a noteworthy accomplishment. It highlights his determination to make a difference in his community and serve as a role model for others.

Overall, His educational background, commitment to community service, and dedication to imparting knowledge to the younger generation reflect his passion for personal growth, community development, and the pursuit of excellence.

it's time for him to use the knowledge he has acquired to better the lots of ward b oworonsoki residents, hence the reason he will be vying for the councillorship position Under APC in the next election cycle. Lastly, He is asking  for the support of oworonsoki residents and teeming APC supporters to make him actualize his aspiration for the betterment of the community.

EFCC has begun monitoring Local Government Funds

  It is no longer a news that LGAs now have financial autonomy,owing to the supreme court verdict of 2024, affirming that LGAs should receive their monthly FAAC Allocations directly from the Country's treasury. According to the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Mimister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, The allocations of the LG funds will take effect by february. In lieu of this, The Anti-graft body of the federation, EFCC has announced that the has started monitoring the funds so that it won't be mismanaged or laundered abroad through the whims and caprices of corruption that is endemic in our political system. This is a welcome development by the anti-graft agency, beaming it's searchlight on the grassroots administration funds.
