Vawulence at Kosofe LGA: Ibrahim Mustapha, Seun Salami at loggerheads with Ganiyu Olamiji Oyebanjo

 


There is a bad blood brewing from the camp of Seun Salami, Ibrahim Mustapha towards Ganiyu Olamiji Oyebanjo popularly known as GOCO, the estranged special adviser on boundary matters to kosofe LG chairman, though the genesis of the brouhaha is yet unkown. In a write-up from seun salami today, he reiterated that ganiyu oyebanjo is hiding from the reach of Area "H" command, Ogudu,citing that the police is looking for him. The reason why the police is allegedly looking for ganiyu oyebanjo wasn't revealed by the author of the write-up, which he tagged "GANIU OYEBANJO: A DEFINITION OF A SOUR WINE IN A GOLDEN APC KOSOFE BOTTLE".

The allegation against Ganiyu Oyebanjo is that he allegedly denigrates the office of the kosofe LG chairman, who happens to be his boss. Although the motive for the alleged insurbodination cannot be confirmed as at now.

Ganiyu Olamiji Oyebanjo has responded to seun salami's write-up, hinting that the latter is a tool in the hand of Ibrahim Mustapha, a former councillor of Ward "E" Mende. He lambasted seun salami for being a bad writer, with so many errors and bad use of english in his write-up. Ganiyu wrote "I read your slippery slope fallacy of a write-up, i can't stop laughing at the jester,clown,nincompoo called SEUN SALAMI.........". He refuted the claim that he bit the finger that fed him, that it is not true. He gravely hammered on the point that it was Ibrahim Mustapha that recruited seun salami to malign his image on social media.

Lastly, Ganiyu stressed further that he is a strategic and tactical fighter,that doesn't just fight but fight to win, and moreso, he said Ibrahim Mustapha saw him at anthony on sunday, that he's very much on ground at his ward.

What is the bone of contention between these kosofe political gladiators? Does it have something to do with APC LGA Primaries that is in-view? Is Ganiyu interested in council's chairmanship position at the expense of the 2nd term ambition of his boss? Who's seun salami and ibrahim mustapha fronting for, in the grand scheme of things? These are questions begging for answers, which only time can reveal

EFCC has begun monitoring Local Government Funds

  It is no longer a news that LGAs now have financial autonomy,owing to the supreme court verdict of 2024, affirming that LGAs should receive their monthly FAAC Allocations directly from the Country's treasury. According to the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Mimister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, The allocations of the LG funds will take effect by february. In lieu of this, The Anti-graft body of the federation, EFCC has announced that the has started monitoring the funds so that it won't be mismanaged or laundered abroad through the whims and caprices of corruption that is endemic in our political system.
