Christianah Kuboye declares for Ward A Oworonsoki Councillorship Seat

From inception, the involvement of women in leadership position is very low, owing to the dominance of the male gender at the apex of the elective political pyramid of the country, in which oworonsoki is not left in the gender debacle plaguing it's political existence. 

Going down memory lane, it is a fact that the only woman from Ward A Oworonsoki that has attempted becoming a ward councillor was Late Hon.(Mrs.) Iyabo Ogundele a.k.a Iron Lady, who died mysteriously few years ago, while the ACN party primaries was few days away. She was the favourite amongst the contestants male contestants that have the likes of Sunday Jonathan Odubamise, the current supervisory councillor for tourism at Kosofe LGA.

Now, Christianah Kuboye-Uyamogha intends to replicate the feat of the Late Iron Lady as the only fenale APC Ward A Oworonsoki Councillorship Aspirant. She studied Political Science from the Prestigious University of Ibadan and she is happily married with children.

Politically, she has been a vibrant youth and grassroot mobilizer of the ward during electioneering campaigns and general elections. In her words "As a woman and mother, i know how painful it is,witnessing political neglect bedeviling the people of oworonsoki community. At the ward level,women are found wanting in taking leadership positions, apart from being a woman leader of a political party", she then promise to effect some positive changes if she get hold of the APC ticket to represent the ward.

Can she pull this off against the male political gladiators that have shown interest in the position? Is it the right time for a female to represent Ward A at the Kosofe Legislative Arm? Does she have the wherewithal to see through her ambition amidst stiff challenge from this male-dominant adventure? Only time shall tell i guessed.....
