Meet PBA Stainless, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairmanship Aspirant

 As the electioneering campaign era is here again for the LG elections in Lagos State, I will like to share with you all, a brief profile of an enigmatic personality, Prince Bidemi Akintunde a.k.a Stainless that will be vying for chairmanship seat of ikosi-isheri LCDA.


He is a grassroot politician of repute that has been around since the days of Alliance for Democracy(A.D). He has contested the chairmanship position twice in 2011 and 2021 respectively, in which this will makes it his 3rd attempt at the most-coveted grassroot position. It is worthy of note that he has once contested for councillorship position of his ward in 2003.

Moreso, he is savvy academically, having bagged degrees in business administration and health/social care management. Aside from his personal businesses in nigeria, he manages one of the biggest health and social care organisation as a CQC registered manager in the U.K.



Politically, he has paid his dues in ikosi-isheri, having been around for a long time, in which he was one of the trained-political soldiers of late senator dhikirullahi adebayo osinowo a.k.a pepperito. He was a member of the independent campaign council in 2023, and also a member of the APC presidential campaign council last year.

While in diaspora, he served as the publicity secretary of APC Netherlands until 2019 and he is currently the vice chairman, Lagos State APC in the UK.

Lastly, He is fully back in nigeria now to pursue his dream ambition of becoming the next ikosi-isheri LCDA Chairman.

Will he be able to secure the APC Ticket? Does he have the blessings of the 2 GAC Leaders and other Apex leaders of the party? Can he defeat the incumbent chairman at the primaries? Only time shall tell......

EFCC has begun monitoring Local Government Funds

  It is no longer a news that LGAs now have financial autonomy,owing to the supreme court verdict of 2024, affirming that LGAs should receive their monthly FAAC Allocations directly from the Country's treasury. According to the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Mimister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, The allocations of the LG funds will take effect by february. In lieu of this, The Anti-graft body of the federation, EFCC has announced that the has started monitoring the funds so that it won't be mismanaged or laundered abroad through the whims and caprices of corruption that is endemic in our political system. This is a welcome development by the anti-graft agency, beaming it's searchlight on the grassroots administration funds.
