Seyi Odufowokan Declares for Ikosi-Isheri Chairmanship Seat


 

As APC ikosi-isheri LCDA prepares for the electioneering campaign, Abiodun Sunday Oluwaseyi Odufowokan a.k.a Speaker has declared his intention to run for the chairmanship position. He is an immediate past chairman of  APC ikosi-isheri LCDA  and the current chairman of the mandate movement in the LCDA.



He is a known figure in ikosi-isheri politics, with verifiable achievements and track records. He is a loyalist of the former kosofe house of reps member, Hon. Rotimi Ojo Agunsoye and will be contesting the position with the likes of the incumbent chairman, Samiat Abolanle Bada a.k.a Mayoress, Akeem Babatunde Adeyemi a.k.a Irewolede, Prince Bidemi Akintunde a.k.a Stainless, Adetunji Adebajo a.k.a Dudu, Chief (Mrs.) Anna Abiodun Martins, Princess Bola Kazeem, and Babatunde Adetunji.

Can he emerge as APC preferred candidate? Does he has all it takes to be selected or elected? Can he successfully dethrone the incumbent chairman? I guess only time shall tell.....

More aspirants are expected to join the train as time goes on, while MOSCHINOBLOG wishes all the aspirants "best of luck".

EFCC has begun monitoring Local Government Funds

  It is no longer a news that LGAs now have financial autonomy,owing to the supreme court verdict of 2024, affirming that LGAs should receive their monthly FAAC Allocations directly from the Country's treasury. According to the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Mimister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, The allocations of the LG funds will take effect by february. In lieu of this, The Anti-graft body of the federation, EFCC has announced that the has started monitoring the funds so that it won't be mismanaged or laundered abroad through the whims and caprices of corruption that is endemic in our political system. This is a welcome development by the anti-graft agency, beaming it's searchlight on the grassroots administration funds.
