MEET YOUR WARD "B" COUNCILLORSHIP FLAGBEARERS

 Here are your councillorship flagbearers in a ranking order;



1. Hon. Abayomi Ebenezer Elugbindin a.k.a Abayo: He is the flagbearer of All Progressives Congress(APC) at the forthcoming election. He emerged from a tough primaries that had Hon. Aliu Omotolani Hamzat a.k.a Aguero as the main opposing aspirant. He will be leveraging on the popularity of his party to seal the lid at the poll.



2. Hon. Bukola Oluyemi Ogunnusi: She is the flagbearer of People's Democratic Party(PDP) at the coming election. She intends to fancy her chances at the poll even though her party is on the bridge of heavy collapse. She's a grassroot politician and community engager.



3. Hon. Kamolideen Osho: He is the flagbearer of Labour Party(LP) at the forthcoming poll. He will be banking on the success of LP during the last presidential election in order to replicate such in Ward B Oworonsoki.



4. Hon. Shina Rauf Ishola a.k.a Shinene: He is the flagbearer of African Action Alliance(AAC) and he hopes to tap from omoyele sowore's comradic popularity in order to have good outcome at the poll. He is a youth crusader and community emancipator.

These are the four(4) flagbearers for Ward "B" Oworonsoki, May the best candidate wins.

EFCC has begun monitoring Local Government Funds

  It is no longer a news that LGAs now have financial autonomy,owing to the supreme court verdict of 2024, affirming that LGAs should receive their monthly FAAC Allocations directly from the Country's treasury. According to the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Mimister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, The allocations of the LG funds will take effect by february. In lieu of this, The Anti-graft body of the federation, EFCC has announced that the has started monitoring the funds so that it won't be mismanaged or laundered abroad through the whims and caprices of corruption that is endemic in our political system. This is a welcome development by the anti-graft agency, beaming it's searchlight on the grassroots administration funds.
