It is no longer a news that lagos state will be conducting it's local governments election in all 57 LGAs/LCDAs on July 12, exactly 20 days from now. Political parties are expected to have submitted the list of their chairmanship and councillorship candidates for the forthcoming election. The ruling party, All Progressives Congress(APC) have submitted the names of their candidates to LASIEC while the opposition parties are no where to be found. Since the return to democracy in 1999, APC has been holding sway in lagos state, dominating both state and local government elections. The ruling party is fully ready for the coming election, having conducted party primaries for the chairmanship and councillorship postions across the 57LGAs/LCDAs.
